At Camp Benji, dog care isn’t just a service—it’s a relationship. Our philosophy has been shaped by working with over 50 different pups in the past year, and is deeply rooted in a lifetime of growing up alongside dogs and understanding the impact they’ve had on our lives.
Dogs aren’t just guests in our homes—they’re members of the household. With that role comes the shared responsibility of maintaining good health, respect, boundaries, and behavior that reflects the care and effort their families put in at home.
We believe dogs thrive when they connect with nature—but we also know not every environment makes that easy. That’s why we’ve created our own little patch of nature here in Palisades Park, NJ. It’s a space where dogs can explore, sniff, and play as naturally as possible.
From open space for running to an edible garden that engages the senses, every detail of our camp is designed to satisfy a dog’s natural instincts—whether that’s sniffing, digging, observing, or simply feeling the breeze.
While we may not be deep in the wilderness, we’ve built a space where dogs can experience the freedom, enrichment, and healing that nature provides—right in the middle of our neighborhood.
